:shock: :shock: thats really pretty cool. i thought someday a heads up display of speed and maybe fuel in a helmet would be useful. not that i could afford it though.
no i don't ride a scooter, i am a scooter pilot!

Interesting, but the only use on the scoot that I can see would be the speed--and I barely pay attention to that anyway!

It's closer than you think. Prototypes are already out and I'm sure we'll see it mainstream within a couple of years. I know they're going to co$t, so I won't be an early adapter. But further on down the road..........

Like my MC, USD forks, radial brakes, slipper clutch, steering dampener, and a host of other things, were once only found on race bikes but are now standard on a lot of MC's. We'll get the HUD's in our helmet's (bluetooth will be standard), and then we'll be overwhelmed by information!!!! Hopefully they'll have a fail safe where if you're moving you'll only get a few selected bits of info, and not all the info it's capable of displaying. If not you'll end up with a real time view of the world that's about 6 x 3 inches, the rest of the shield will be filled with data. :lol:
