Buddy windscreen

Post by grettawiley »

My wife just got a Buddy 50 with all the accessories (rear rack, rub bars, rear box, and windscreen). None of the accessories came with any instructions. All is fine until I get to the windscreen.

Does anyone have any detailed pics of a windscreen installation on a Buddy? . . . or better yet, the instructions for installation?

Thanks!

Jim

Most windshields install very similar with some differences. Here's one I installed on my dad's bike.

Really none of the accesories come with instructions, I guess genuine assumes the dealer would install them all for you.

It's a Prima. I got it installed just fine after I looked at some of the pics from the thread jfrost2 provided. It was interesting. I got a big cardboard box full of parts, and 6 individual bags of unlabled hardware (nuts, bolts, etc). It was like a big puzzle.

I did shoot an email off to Genuine and Bob sent a very quick reply with a PDF of the instructions for the rear rack. That was helpful.

Thanks for the tips.
