Where to buy body panels?

Post by mrsding »

I had an accident last night (was practicing for my motorcycle endorsement test and grabbed brakes instead of squeezing and went over the handlebars) and scraped up my cream colored Buddy (not to mention myself!)

I broke the front piece around the headlight, including the chrome colored piece around the headlight, and the left panel toward the floorboard. Hubby is pretty sure he can replace them, but where can I buy them? Our dealer is a pretty good distance away, so it would be better if we can buy them online somewhere.

I've seen where some people have replaced panels, but I don't recall anyone having said where they bought them.

Thanks in advance!

I'm really not sure at all. Try emailing scooter works or genuine. If they don't sale direct they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I got mine from the dealer. Since it was going to take like 6 weeks to get them, they swiped them from another buddy they had in the back.

My dealer is awesome like that 8)

Or call them up and ask if they will ship them. Many will.

Someone backed into my scoot while I was on vacation- cracked the front fender. I called my dealer (BrooklynBretta!!!), and they ordered a new one... Yay! It came in yesterday.

I'll give my dealer a call. Anybody have a parts list, so I know exactly what to call it when I ask.

I have downloaded the parts list, but I guess I'm not quite sure how to read it. I'm not sure what FMSP means, or exactly which parts are which. I'll have hubby take a look at it later. I think the pain meds are making me goofy!

Thanks again,
