How's It Going?

Post by Corsair »

Just wanted to know how all you new owners are enjoying your Buddy? How's the scooter life so far? Any stories to share? Any new mods or accessories?

I am LOOOOVING my scooter. Im not a brand new owner but I like saying that. One of my favorite parts of being a scooter owner is answering the gas milage question and hearing the kids I teach tell their friends that their teacher drives a "motorcycle". 8)

I bought the Buddy 125 SI almost two weeks ago and am absolutely loving it.

If it weren't for the Nashville drivers looking though me as though I were invisible, it would be perfect.

I'm getting my first service on Monday and I am looking forward to many more miles of groovy scootering.

I went on my first Organized scooter ride on saturday.......it was a blast.......met some cool people and I have only had my scoot a short time and already have over 700 miles on it now.........bad story is that I left the top open on my nelson rigg bag on the way back from the ride and my digital camera flew out somewhere in Red ROCKS or Morrison........there was a concert that night so I am sure someone is happy they stumbled across that little gift.....it was in a case so it probably survived the drop unless someone ran it over.......then its toast...its kind of funny thinking about riding over 700 miles and then realizing it is probably only about $22.00 or $23.00 in gas!

there's nothin that works better than coolness points when you're a teacher  and riding a cool red scooter to school is cool materialized. that alone will get your class extra erb points. (i'm not sure if i'm getting the test name right. it's been 10 years almost to the day  since i worked in grammer school).

After almost a year of pink buddy ownership, it is still a great scooter. Love the torque.

Over 4200 miles. Am I still a new Budd owner? :?

Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

Not many other scoots around

Post by pcbikedude »

I purchased mine on Memorial Day weekend. A little less than a month and ~475 miles, still lovin' it. Get some great comments from other motorcycle riders and turn some heads with the off-the-line pickup.

Currently, I only have a permit. I'm going to take the MSF course this week so I can get my license.

Don't see too many other scoots out here in the eastern part of San Diego County.

I'm planning a beach ride soon about 40m round trip.
