Eye protection
I just put the down payment on my first Scooter and am trying to figure out some protection things. Given that I am a 24 year old largish man with Chewbacca level hair coverage, I was thinking aviator goggles. Mostly for the look there. Any thoughts on what I should get? And why?

The first week I had my Buddy, I had an open faced (no windscreen) helmet that I used with wrap around sun glasses. It was mid summer and I thought the air flow would be great. But, I didn't consider bugs and other flying things. In the first week, I was hit in the face two times. Too scary for me.
I quickly bought an AGV Blade with a windscreen. I still where sun glasses, but I don't get the jolting surprises smacking me in the face anymore. At least twice a week, a bug is splattered on my windscreen.
Good luck!!

I have these and had my optometrist grind lenses with my prescription. But then, I'm a woman. I like goggles that have very dense foam instead of the super-porous, spongy stuff.
Just remember to keep your mouth closed while you're riding
