Female riders I need your input

Hi All:
So you know I am doing a research project and I want to thank you for the amazing response - well over 300! However, almost 80% of the response are from the men. I would really like to hear more from the female riders.

Maybe that's an indication of the mix of MB members, the mix of US scooter riders, the mix of Genuine riders or the mix of Genuine riders that participate in an online community? Just thinking out loud.

Did you try scooterdiva.com ? there tend to be more females on there.

Females make up almost 50% of scooterists in the US. I'd guess and say the percentage of female Buddy riders is around 50% (based purely on observation, local dealers, and this forum) but active female MBers is probably lower, maybe 30% or so.

Have you posted the survey on scooterdiva.com?

I have it posted on about 11 forums and I know some people have spread the word through other venues. I was looking at the stats this morning and there are definately gender differences in the results. I am still really happy with the number of people that have checked it out. More than 400 people have at least started the survey and I have an 83% completion rate, so I can't complain!

For those of you who have taken it, thanks!

I am gonna go off on a tangent but I can go for weeks-in the summer- w/o seeing a female scooter rider. And as far as on MC's I may only see a couple a week. so sad.
