August 3-5, Motor City Shakedown 3-D

Need a place to stay? The Days Inn Hazel Park on 9 mile ( like .5 miles from most of the rally activities ) is giving us a rate of $49 a night if you mention the scooter rally.

Friday night we're meeting at the Elks lodge in ferndale for drinks + dancing + DJ's. We've got a number of ferndale establishments giving us coupons or discounts or whatever if you want to go up and down 9 mile and shop for records or get a tattoo or buy high heels or get your hair did.

Saturday Morning, breakfast on 9 mile and then off for a 3-4 hour ride downtown, stopping ( literally ) at the Heidelberg Project, through downtown, and then splitting off for those who want to go to either the Motown Museum or Centerfolds strip club. ( i think we swung free cover for all rally goers )

Saturday night we're doing at the Berkley Front on 12 mile... 60 beers on tap, 300 varieties in bottle. DJ's, Dancing, and giving away a 1974 Vespa 50 special ( original paint and all ..it's nice!), along with other prizes donated by sponsors and awards and crap.


and there will probably be the hot-tub afterparty at my house again both nights. Thongs might be provided.
