The Series Italia available at Philadelphia Scooters!

Post by polianarchy »

Since I'm so active on this board, I thought I'd pass along this news I got yesterday at my favorite scooter shop. If you are anywhere in the Delaware Valley and are shopping for the wait-listed Series Italia, then come on down to Philadelphia Scooters! They are expecting a big ol' shipment of Buddys today, and you couldn't ask for a better shop when it comes to service. Now is the time to buy! Think of all the sweet end-of-summer and fall foliage rides you could have.

I can personally attest to Phila Scooters awesomeness to newbies, their long-standing connections in the Philly scooter "scene," and just general all-around excellent customer service for all. Yes, they have lots and lots of Genuine Buddy accessories. Yes, they have a great selection of helmets and gloves and jackets and security chains. Yes, I love this shop so much I am willing to tell y'all about it. And did I mention their awesome team of mechanics? Seriously, if you live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or even Maryland, Philadelphia Scooters is a must-see for the Genuine Buddy aficionado.

The Scooter shop I purchased my Buddy at is closed on Monday's too.
Is that a common day for shops to be closed--a two day break Sun/Mon?

My favorite scooter shop, Metro Scooter in Cincinnati, is also closed on Mondays, Sundays too. They are open late on Wednesdays, so I stopped in last night on my way home.

More importantly, they have a few Series Italia and two Rattler 110s and will have a few new Stellas when they come in.

It's illegal to sell motor vehicles on Sunday here in Pennsylvania. I blame the Puritans for that small-minded piece of legislation. I suppose other states have such a law. Thus, their other closed day would be the one that's adjacent to Sunday but NOT Saturday, the busiest day for sales. So yeah, I guess it's pretty common for scooter shops to be closed on Mondays.

And Keys, Philly is *ALWAYS* closed for business! You just have to know the right person to bribe to get anything done.
