Easy custom add on: Rattler Levers

Post by Mike @ NoHo Scooters »

Here is yet another idea for those whom are into altering their Buddies. Rattler levers a cool switchblade look cool and have cutouts for your fingers to rest, and yes they fit the Buddy. For the best effect we ditched the rubber boot on the left side you you can see the whole lever.

Does anyone have the link that showed the "end-of-hand-grip-rear-view-mirrors?"

Piperdown, they are called "bar-end mirrors" and should be available at any motorcycle shop. BMW's used to have them as standard equipment on some of their bikes. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, J.C. Whitney used to carry them in their catalogue. Ya might check...

I installed these a few weeks ago. They are slightly convex, so they also act as a blind spot mirror. I'm amazed at how much of the road behind is visible with these. No more looking at my shoulders!

they are super nice. (a little spendy, but I think they're totally worth it.) I'm going to pack up my scoot in a bit for a camping trip, I'll take some pics in a few...

also, there is a good review/comparison of the Oberon vs. Hindsight mirrors here at one of my favorite gear sites:
