Proper Torque Settings on Engine and Gear Fill and Drain

Post by IndyBuddy »

Hi,

I am searching for the proper torque settings for the drains for engine and gear oil for the 2007 Genuine Buddy 125.

My Yamaha Vino 125 had good details in the owner's manual, but I have not been able to find the same info for my new Buddy.

Thanks,
IndyAnne

Check out the Buddy 125 service manual, page 9.

Thanks very much. I was able to open the PDF. The manual is very helpful, I am so glad to have it for this and future reference.

I really need to get a torque wrench.

Here's what I did when I got my new Blur home - I painted a bright red nail polish stripe on the side of each of the drain bolt heads continuing up past the casing. This way I can be sure to tighten them back to exactly the same point and not beyond.
