How many oz of Seafoam for a Buddy

I got a tank full of gas, And I do not remember how may oz of my scooter's fav brew is needed. This is a temporary measure. We have ice front moving through and I want to Seafoam the gas until Sunday when I can put battery in and give my scoot it's pre hibernation run. there is a very small print on the Seafoam bottle but I cannot see what it says:-(

If I remember correctly it states one ounce (30mls) per gallon. Since the capacity of the fuel tank is debated (approx. 1.25gals) I use about 40-50mls (1 1/3-1 2/3oz) to a full tank.

thanks, KB. I did about 30 ml (figuring it will hold things through tomorrow, then run the stuff through the engine on a short Sunday ride if roads are clear. Next week (the tail end of it) looks to be in the 60's. If so I can still ride for a couple of days more.

would say 1 and a half to 2 ounces , it says some were on the bottle not to under measure as it can lose its effectiveness

I remember reading somewhere that it doesn't hurt anything if you put in too much. So I don't even measure, I just eyeball about 1 to 2 ounces.

From the website:

Type of Fuel: Normal gasoline grades (including 10% and 15% ethanol blends)

Recommended Average Mixture: 1 oz. Sea Foam® Motor Treatment per gallon of gasoline. Can mix up to 2 oz. per gallon of gasoline if necessary.

Comments: Mixing at less than two-thirds oz. per gallon will impair the effectiveness of Sea Foam®.

I believe the bottle says 1oz/gal for maintenance and 2oz/gal for cleaning.

Don't forget to run it after you put it in. If you put the Seafoam in and then let it sit unused for a winter, you'll gain none of the benefits of adding pre-storage.

And it takes a long time of idling to get fully through the Carb. When I changed out a jet I disconnected the fuel line from the tank to empty the carb and it ran forever before finally dying. I didn't actually time it but it seemed like a good ten minutes before it burned through all the gas left in the Carb after disconnecting the fuel line.

the weather is supposed to warm up by Wed. A ride to work and back should circulate Seafoam through the system. Then I can add more gas and Seafoam and moan and groan until March.

Open sea foam and un lid tank.Take sf raise it and imedately lower it ,,,should be just right.
