my buddy will live in my heart

Post by pneu125 »

I felt like I met my soulmate when I bought my buddy- Lucky- in July. We rode to work and back, balanced a case of beer on the floorboards, and spent quality time together in the garage. Lucky's forks and frame were bent about three weeks ago in a freak accident involving my brother (uninsured) and a range rover. Today, the dealer told me that she's totalled and worth pennies. It's been a rough month but that topped it off.

Does anybody have any advice for a new scooter rider with a broken buddy?

Part it out, get some money back? Post what is still salvageable here on MB, a some members may buy pieces from you.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Lucky. Hope your brother is okay. I'm sure the Range Rover is

What color Buddy is your brother buying you?

When I lend my scoots it's always with the understanding that if they drop it, they've bought it (at fair market value). It's the gentlemanly way to live.

It was a 2006 small-light,too! Sorry for your loss. I hope the motor can be transplanted into another Buddy so Lucky can live on.
