Who wants a free Cardo Scala Q2 bluetooth set?

Post by desmolicious »

I just replaced my Cardo Scala Q2 intercom system with the latest SENA system.

So, I have a free Q2 system to anyone who wants it. Sure I could sell it, but why not spread some joy here?

Anyway, it is two units with battery chargers etc. Everything you need. Boxed w/ instructions booklets.

2 caveats:
1/ I live in Venice Beach and will not ship. You want it, come and get it. That's the price of a freebie!

B/ The system is a few years old so may not perform as new.

I gotta be honest, I was not satisfied w/ its performance (cannot hear it over 60 mph) which is why I got the SENA - which is awesome. But it should still be great for lower speed use, around town etc.

First come, first served. And please, if you take it use it, i.e. don't turn around and sell it to make a few bucks...

Hey desmolicious, sounds like something we could use on LASG rides. Is it usable with a full-face helmet?

Sounds perfect. I'd be thrilled to take it off your hands! :+!: I've been talking about getting something like this for the group. Our rides keep getting bigger and bigger and a com system is becoming more and more necessary.

I pm'd Skootz but the gist of it is I messed up. My gf gave the systems, w/o asking me, to her nephew as she thought I wouldn't miss them.

So I promised them to Skootz not knowing they had gone.

My apologies.

No worries. Stuff happens. Still a damn generous thought just the same. Cheers.

They really do work well for contact between the lead and the sweeper. Let us know how it works out for you!

I know, I know ... this is an old post and I'm late in jumping in with a question. But I haven't been around for awhile and this post caught my attention.

Anyway, do you have a review/update on the Sena system? I currently have the Cardo Scala G4 system and I also have found that it lacks a bit at higher speeds. Overall, these intercom systems really add to the ride and several of my friends have the G4, but I'll spend the bucks for a better product. Particularly if I find a deal at this year's motorcycle show (as I did with the G4 last year).

Thanks,
Rob
