The Iron Buddy has been in the shop since yesterday. I was going to have the valves adjusted and in the last 2 rides before I took it over there, the bike had been smelling strongly of fuel.
Got a call from the shop today and the fuel tank is cracked several inches from near the neck, and down the back.
Has anyone else ever had that happen? Tanks aren't easy to come by, either. There may be one left over from a previously crashed 125. Here's hopin'.

Very unusual; never heard of this happening on a not-crashed scooter!

Depends on what size of which model and what year.sickpuppy wrote:wow I did not know they have a plastic fuel tank.
The Buddy 150s have always had metal tanks. I believe that after '09 the 125s followed.
The Stellas all have metal tanks.
