Cold Rain with a smile ;~)

Post by 2wheelNsanity »

Well it has been a long 2 weeks for me. I finally finished my Masters thesis in Entomology, which left me only a week to develop my defence. There seemed to be no time to ride. Well, all went well and I graduated, :D . Now the hard part getting a job. Cut to today, its raining lightly and 42 degrees, the "blues" were climbing all over my back like a 400lb gorilla. I had to go to the store to pick-up some stuff and the car was out of fuel so I got bundled up and headed out on "Kaze". It was like floating on air, just crusing at 50 bmph down an old country road and it was then I realized I had a smile on my face, first one in weeks. :D

So the conclusion statement (still in thesis mode sry) would have to be "No matter what, ridding a scoot will inevitably put a smile on your face".

I wish everyone a gr8 Christmas, and for those like me (unemployed) I hope we get our dream job :)

Congrats on graduating. :D Im feeling a bit "blue" myself this past week. I do ride to work, but its been dreary and the ride is getting a bit boring, not to mention dangerous.(I ride through an industrial area, so dump trucks are everywhere. I get off early on Friday, so maybe I'll take a ride out to the country! I need to find that old magic! Peace to all and all that.

Sorry, I have to say this........

You were getting 'buggy' over not riding.

Mazel Tov, now get out and ride!!!

Buggy? And here I am thinking how do you write a thesis on the study of word history?

Yeah, I need a smile, too.

Just changed the oil today in Bad Penny, and the forecast for tomorrow is 53F and mostly sunny. If it hits 50F by 1 p.m., I'm gonna take this ride, again tomorrow. There's another backroad I see on Google Maps that I want to check as an alternate route.

Congrats on finishing your thesis and graduating! Now on to the next great challenge in your life. At least you have a scoot to bring a smile whenever you need one.
