Info on 170i engine

Post by 15uzu »

Regarding the engine used in the 170i - can anyone advise whether it uses the same cases as the 150 engine in the Buddy International 150? (we don't get the 170 engine here)

The International 150 is sold as the Ligero 150 over here & appears to use the same barrel as the X-Hot. I'm looking to increase to cc of the X-hot (There's not a lot of aftermarket parts available......like....ZERO!).

I'd like to use the 220 barrel, but it looks like it is too large to fit the 150 cases. I'm hoping the 170 uses the same cases as the 150 rather than the 220. Anyone know?

Thanks!

Sorry I dont have an answer for you, I just wanted to say that X-hot of yours is HOT. Wish we could get those! Im sure someone will chime in that knows the answer to your Q BTW.

I agree! that X-hot looks like a larger brother of my Zuma, and from reading about the extra features, it would be a great compromise for me between the 170i and the 50cc I ride now.

You'll have to let us know what you find out!

How's the X-hot accelerate and handle?

Well.....ust had word back from PGO Taiwan:

Hello Adam,

After checked with our engineer, we are sorry to inform you that the cylinder from this 170 engine is NOT compatible with the 150 engine in the X-Hot.

Best regards,
