I didn't see any entries when I searched, so I figured I would comment. The stock shock absorber for the RH50 is not an air shock. To adjust it, find the small cylinder that protrudes from near the bottom of the spring. It is threaded, so there probably exists some screw-in rod tool that makes turning the adjusting collar very easy. But you don't need the actual tool to adjust the shock. I used a pair of vice-grip pliers to grab hold of the collar and then firmly turn it to a different setting. If you take a close look at the adjusting collar, you will see it has ridges at different heights to enable you to vary the pre-load setting on the spring. If you shorten the spring at rest, it will increase the pre-load, giving you a stiffer ride. If you lengthen the spring, it will give you a softer ride.
Hope this helps.
