OK, so something in my right mirror seems loose. Not where it's tightened in, but right behind the mirror itself.
I've tried holding various pieces to tighten it up, and no dice.
Anyone have any suggestions before I beg the local shop for a warranty replacement?
loopy mirror....

It's a common, sometimes-recurring problem. A little tricky to fix, but do-able:

I've done it a couple times on my left mirror. The right kinda needs it now.

Danke!
I just found that thread too (Bolean terms, I R a n00b at searching apparently...).
Since it's pretty new, I think I'll head over at lunch and see if the dealer can tighten it or swap it for me. They're pretty handy and might know a trick, otherwise it'll give me the chance to get it swapped.
Last resort would be buying a new one after I goof it up!

englewood or pecos?
so the metal arm was staying stiff to the body, but the plastic around the mirror was loose and would shift? have I got that right?
on my honda mirror, there is a small screw where the plastic around the mirror meets the arm that holds it to the scooter, does the buddy not have a tightening screw there?
Gotta love sportique, did they charge you much?

Ben:
Englewood. as the crow flies Denver is closer, but Englewood is close to work and a nice chill ride from the house, so I went to them.
I think we could have done the fix you mentioned (and was mentioned in the proper thread), but there was no need, they just swapped me a newone.
I didn't pay anything as mine is still under warranty, and I bought the plus plan as a backup since I got such a good deal on it. I try not to make them tolerate my face too often, but I also buy things fairly regularly and love my Buddy enough to make good referrals.
