Please help-gear oil change

I have a buddy 125 & am attempting to change the oil myself. I changed the motor oil and filter successfully, but I have questions about how to do the gear oil. sorry if these are dumb questions but I bought my scooter used and didnt receive an owners manual. I need to know a) where the old gear oil drains from, b) where I put the new oil in at. Also any other information I should know before doing it myself the first time. If someone could answer my questions or point me towards a good source detailing the process that would be awesome! I havent been able to find the info I need on my own web searches

Here's a link to a oil change tutorial, which covers both engine and gear oil. I refer this this every time I change my oil.

I'd recommend heading to your local supermarket and picking up a flavor injector to measure and inject the gear oil. It has to go into the port at the back of the gear box, so you can't just pour it in.

there is a 12mm drain plug w/ aluminum washer on the bottom of the CVT (near the back) on the left hand side; the fill port has a white plastic screw plug; I find that the viscous gear oil flows easier after running the scooter which warms up the fluid; I also spin the rear wheel (while on the centerstand) which promotes some more fluid to drain out;

do not lose the aluminum washer when replacing the drain plug prior to refilling the rear hub; I use a 60 mL syringe to refill the gear oil; it is optimal NOT to overfill since there is an overflow hose that drips excess oil on the rear tire and wheel; the recommended refill amount is 90 mL, but I seem to get an extra 3-5 mL, but that isn't enough to cause the dripping;

there are plenty of good gear oils in the 140 weight category...what I use is Amsoil Severe Gear 75w-140 full synthetic that was leftover from my Rattler purchase; the first service interval is @ 300 miles to drain the factory fill which removes metal bits generated during the break-in procedure; I also changed mine @ 500 miles using it as a 'flush' which was much cleaner than the 300 mile interval;
