even other MC's and scooters are a danger to us as well.

That is indeed sad news. My parents live in Naples part of the year. A lot of the driving there is atrocious. I've been there.

Ouch.

I haven't seen any news articles, but I was up really late last night (full moons do that to me...) and heard a lot of sportbikes around town, and then sirens.
