Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to post some details here about a fund raiser I am taking part in. It’s to benefit the Special Olympics. If I raise enough money ($1,250) I will be able to rappel down the side of a high rise building in downtown Seattle. As an experienced mountaineer and novice rock climber, this is something I have dreamed of doing for years. I never thought I’d actually get the opportunity to do it, but here it is!

I have competed in sports for the better part of my life. I know firsthand the joy of competition whether the end result is a win or a loss. I can think of nothing more rewarding than raising the money needed to support two athletes for an entire year in the Special Olympics.
