i don't like it. reinforces the stereotype of scooters being nothing more then "fun in the sun" toys to be rode in shorts (or less) with no helmet while on school break. ugh

i think NoHo scooters might be credited, but who knows? i know owner mike knows a lot of "industry" types and they stop by his shop hunting scoots for all types of projects. the shop is right down the road from most major studiosjrsjr wrote:Someody at Genuine is a genius, and I think we all know who it is...

Well, I had the image of bikini's and no helmet until I got my own GB. Then came the 'worries' of other people. I needed a helmet (understood),
different shoes (boots purchased), protective jacket (purchased), gloves (understood). Then I learned about everyone elses fears ... something I hadn't even thought of. Now I own a slight 'paranoia" when riding. The added pics from other posts sell the internalized version of my expectation. And not the danger, difficult to find a mechanic, part sources potentially unreliable, tires difficult to change, etc reality.
what a trip. I'm back to opting for the carefree, easy livin, born to have fun image.
