Orange County Ca Speed Limits

Post by JHScoot »

Hi fellow riders...

Just was wondering if anyone could tell me the speed limit along Edinger Ave from Long Beach to Santa Ana. I have googled and came up with little info except a forum which said many if not most major Ave's in OC are posted 50mph, including Edinger. Yet checking google maps at Beach Blvd and Edinger the speed limit is posted 40mph.

My scoots top crusing speed is 50-55mph or near 60+ in ideal conditions. May have to ride to this location next week Sat from LBC on through Santa Ana and want to make sure my scoot has enough oomph for the 20 mile ride.

Thanks!

I usually Google map it and use street view to look for speed limit signs!

awesome thanks. being a very local rider i seldom think to do that but actually did right before i singed on. kinda signed on to post so and.....looks like i am good 2 go. 45mph looks like a max speed on that road with lots of 40mph stretches, too
