Carb Upgrades for Buddy 50

Hey I searched and was suprised I couldn't find an answer so I'll start the thread.

Should I up jet my stock carb or put on a new carb?

What are the benefits and down sides?

Note: I plan on putting on a new pipe, roller weights, contra spring, and if filter if this helps with the advice.
