New Years Resolutions?
Scooter oriented or otherwise, scooting farther (if not Faster) and assuming that they Don't see me. And in the non scoot area, to walk % miles a day. That is something over 10,000 steps. What is in your resolutions?

Re: New Years Resolutions?
This is a good one. I have been pretty fortunate by staying out of cagers' blind spots, driving VERY defensively, expecting that cagers' will make bonehead moves, etc, and haven't had many close calls recently. Yesterday I had one guy change lanes into me when I was right next to him, and another lady pull out of a shopping center right in front of me. Assuming that they don't see me saved me both times.still shifting wrote:assuming that they Don't see me

To not buy another scooter until I sell at least two of the ones I have now. And yes...I almost broke it Jan 4.

Ah, I'll bet you'll have this busted by month's end.BuddyRaton wrote:To not buy another scooter until I sell at least two of the ones I have now. And yes...I almost broke it Jan 4.

I'm resolving to get one bike running per month. And no, they don't all have to be mine.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

I don't have any scootery resolutions for this year... that part of my life has no room for improvement.
I do have a couple scootery plans though:
1) A 5-day trip hiking along the Manistee River and riding the Old Mission Peninsula. That's picking up a bit of an earlier ride I had to skip to fix a broken brake handle, and also sort of a practice run for...
2) A 12-day trip riding up to the western UP and hiking Isle Royale for a couple days. That will finish my tour of Michigan and also give me a brief visit to my favorite national park.
