NBR: New bar end mirrors on the Agility 125

Post by neotrotsky »

Well, $20 and about 20 min later I was able to upgrade the look of the Agility. The interesting part is that the new mirrors are convex, which actually give better visibility than the stock mirrors. Granted, the downside is that the metal the hardware is made of is pretty low-grade, but I took the time to install them right so I think they will work out pretty good. Once I remove the 2nd fender extension and remove the turn signals for something not so American spec'ed, I think it will look pretty good.

The agility has about 8100km on it right now, and has performed admirably. The only problem was the plastic exhaust decorator tip rattled loose and fell off at about 2000km. Since then I have been pedantic about the hardware tightening. Average MPG is about 85 to the gallon, and while it takes a bit to warm up below 40 degrees, it has consistent power and handles great. Still can't get the front brakes to stop squealing a bit and the factory tires suck ass, but its far more comfortable on long commutes than the competition. And, with regular washing and plastic treatment it still looks brand new (of course it helps that I can store it inside)
