Let the Modding begin, LOL

Post by SonnyD »

OK, so while waiting for my Prima pipe to arrive, which should be by end of day tomorrow according to UPS... I went to my local Genuine Dealer and ordered some more parts... I had them order me some Dr Pulley sliders, a half gram heavier.. and new set variator guides and a new compression spring... I'm also going to have them install some new Michelin S1 tires. My tires are in good shape, but original and I'm sure getting a bit hard being 7 years old...
I knew it wouldn't take long before I was totally hooked LOL... the "Anticipation" grows!!!!

you'll love the difference in the tires. I didn't mind the stock tires, but once I changed them, I realized I could do things like, turn and stop :P.

LOL....yeah, those things do come in handy! I've ridden to work the last two days even though I knew it was going to rain....the stock tires feel a little "greasy"..even though they have probably 90% tread left... but Like I mentioned, they have been on there since 06...so it's time for them to go...
