NSR: IOS after Restore: some apps not working

Friend has Iphone. Phone had to be restored and she is complaining that some apps stopped working (she says are. locked"). Don't know anything about IOS and she does not either: I am still on Windoz. Thought I'd ask though in case someone here dealt with this? In Windoz land this was a common issue on pocket pc's and phones and proggies had to be re- installed

Deleting the apps from the iPhone and redownloading them from the App Store would be a good thing to try. Unless the apps were purchased under a different account then the one that's currently set up on the phone?
