Need a electrical wiring guru
Can someone who knows better than me tell me if there is a 12v source that is switched on by the ignition key. I need power for a trailtech vapor I'm trying to install. If I connect it as suggested (to constant source)the back light stays on too long. Living in the city I don't want the back light on should I leave the scoot in a public place. It will draw too much attention

Figured it out. Orange wire coming off the switch. I've been doing HVAC work and general household electrical repair for a dozen years. I must say having no formal education the taiwanese schematics suck! I tangled with an AC stator'd bw100 swap into a formally DC based eton beamer last year. That took days to figure out. However this was pretty straight forward just wanted a second opinion.

That was going to be my recommendation. That's the horn wire; I used it for the switch I installed for my no-longer-dead-lights.lovemysan wrote:Figured it out. Orange wire coming off the switch. We'll certainly all interpret it that way.TVB wrote:Is that your way of saying "I'm sorry I was so hostile. I'm glad you figured it out"?tortoise wrote:
