Just received word today that one of my riding buddies, Susan, passed away on Halloween at age 73. She was a breast cancer survivor and also suffered from Parkinson's disease. Despite all of her health issues, she was actively riding up until a couple of years ago, when the Parkinson's made it too difficult for her to balance and support the bike. I did a bit of wrenching on a couple of her scoots (you could never work on one of her rides more than once since she was notorious for getting a new or different one every year) and we had a lot of good times riding with the rest of our crew.

Sounds like she was a rocking scooter chick. Sorry I never had the opportunity to meet her.
