It's already out. Issue #44, I think. Skateboard on the cover. It's in scooter shops now. Subscriptions usually show up later, sometimes much later.

There's been a pretty lengthy discussion on ModernVespa about Scoot! but the lowdown is that they are having a lot of problems fulfilling subscriptions. Though it may be an inconvenience, it might be easier to get yours at your local dealer, Barnes & Noble, etc. Their retail distribution seems to be on schedule.

Funny thing is my local BN doesn't carry it, but Borders does. I am going back to my parents place this weekend and they are right near a BOrders. I will need to pick this up.

I think they're frantically trying to get another issue out before DealerExpo (their buyer's guide, I imagine), Josh just sent a last-minute call for ads.

I'm lucky enough to be able to drop by Scoot Richmond to get a copy. Sorry to hear the Scoot! folks are having ongoing problems delivering their subscription mags. They should focus on that and get that straightened out. Yeah, I know, easy for me to say sitting on my brains in front of the computer.

My B+N in Freehold NJ carries it (3 copies) but I think their magazine guy hides in the back somewhere, because it's almost never put out on the racks until a month or so late. Then unsold copies stay there way past the next issue's release date...
I was thinking of getting a subscription, but I hear that that's even worse!

Why should Scoot Mag's s--t always be so difficult? It's as bad as trying to keep and enjoy a scooter in some of our dumb and dysfunctional big cities!
Namaste,
