Buddy 125 annotated parts list

Post by Eric »

I've assembled a reference document for myself and thought maybe the community would find it useful as well. It's essentially an improved Buddy 125 parts diagram. After each assembly diagram is a list that describes what each part is. I've found this really useful for identifying pieces of my scooter. Here's a screenshot of a random page, so you can get an idea of what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/NMzloGC.png

The parts lists were scraped from a catalog I found on http://www.powerdemoa.com/.

Caveats:
  • I'm not a mechanic. Use at your own risk.
  • You may find a tag mismatch here and there, but in my experience it's 99% right.
  • I couldn't find a matching parts list for diagram F12.2 (the frame).
The PDF document is 60 pages and weighs in at 2.7MB. I welcome any and all feedback!

Hi, thanks for sharing!

Is this different than the PGO parts list that corresponds with the diagrams?
http://www.modernbuddy.com/pdf/BUDDY_12 ... ATALOG.xls

That doc has the list for the page you're missing as well.

All in the "Manuals, Service Manuals, Parts, Ephemera" section of our FAQs and Guides: topic17349.html
Eric // LA Scooter Meetup Group // Stella 4T // Vespa LX // Vespa LXS // Honda Helix // some, uh, projects…

<facepalm> I must have looked at that Excel spreadsheet a dozen times over the past few years, but never made the connection that it was referencing the parts assembly diagram. D'oh!

I think I'll update my doc to reflect this, that way it will be around if anyone wants it. Will post a link to the updated document once it's ready.

Thanks!
