I for the life of me can't figure out how to swap the rear turn signal bezels! Is there a quick way to do it or do I have to tear all the body panels off to get to that one area? I'm afraid I'm going to destroy something doing it wrong.
(On a side note, my husband just got rear ended on his bike so I'm probably not thinking clear while doing this. I'm sure i'm over thinking this. He's fine thankfully, but the bike is destroyed.
For those who installed the Black Out Kit

Yes the rear side and back panels come off. Note the diagram what looks like 6-7, 9-10 & 8.
Be very patient where the rear sides wrap around behind the seat and connect as the two tabs are a challenge to get apart and reconnect without damaging them. This is just above the rear tail light. Panel 8 is pretty easy just below the tail light watch for it to pop out and in as it has vey small tabs or clips at the top. Remove the body push screws kind of directly below the signal housing into the sides of 22 and one larger screw behind the license plate as I recall.
There will be one screw to remove the turn signal lens and the blinker wire just unplugs once you are inside.
Will look very cool once completed!

Nice to know this ahead of time since I'm currently doing my buddy with plasti-dip. So far I've only done the speedo bezel as I was in there to change out my headlight with the new PIAA bulb. and will get to the rest of the parts as the weather cooperates. (possible snow tomorrow)
Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.

Thanks all. Gonna try and attack it again next week.
Going to the bike shop tonight so the hubs can pick out a new bike. The guy that hit him took off (there's now a warrant out) but he can't wait for on a insurance check to ride. Even though we have a full stable of bikes, they are old and unreliable. Now I just have to resist the Stella or BV I saw on their website...although Dash could use a brother or sister to keep her company in a garage full of mean cruisers.
