Poop man,
nice touch on the star. Is it painted or decal?
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?

Good stuff. How do you compare the stella to the buddy speed wise? Do you like shifting? I am thinking of making an addition to the family.

heres my comparison of the stella to the buddy

the stella has VERY little storage in comparison to the buddy, very little.

the stella has a 150cc 2-stroke, so it has a huge amount of torque, you can pull wheelies in first or second gear, even on accident.

the stella feels like a tank, which is good in some ways because it feels so stable, but bad in the handling department. The buddy has the stella beat hands down in manuverability.

shifting is not hard, although the stellas shifting is clunky because it uses essentially old technology to do so.

the stella is very fast up to about 55mph, there is no lag in any of the gears to get up to speed, its just pushes you back the whole way to top speed.

the stella goes about 55-60mph stock.

fit and finish is superior on the stella.

over all the main difference is that the stella feels more solid, while the buddy feels more nimble and sporty. i would compare the stella to a classic old mustang in flawless condition, heavy, fast, solid and fun. The buddy would be like a new acura or something, nimble, full of nice features, practical, attractive and smooth.

so in a nut shell, the two cant really be compared. Try to explain to a new car owner why an old classic is good, and most people would not understand it, they dont have mp3 players, AC, power steering etc..........but then tell a classic car owner why new cars are better, and they will call new cars cheap, expendable and lack that special character.

I happen to like both for the very different qualities they posses, although since i got the stella, the buddy has sat mostly. Not because i dont love it, but i think i might be more of a classic car lover, that also likes his Acura.

Thanks for your comparison. I agree, they are two different animals. Different, but both likable. I am hankerin for a green Stella like yours.

I really just wanted to use hankerin in a sentence.

That is a great comparison. I hadf a feeling that the Buddy would be the more nimble of the two. As much as I love the looks of the Stella for me the handling wins.

Enjoy it. What if any plans do you have for it.

If thats a poop colored Stella you really should consider changing your diet!

Sweet looking scoot and the star is perfect with that color!
