Strobe brake lights using the GS-100A Strobe Controller

Post by legend415 »

I have a 2012 Buddy 170i and a 2006 Buddy 125. I purchased a pair of the GS-100A controllers, but cannot figure out how to get the thing wired in. There is a (+) and a (-) wire feeding in to the controller and the same feeding out. The brake light itself has three (3) wires feeding it. Anyone familiar with which wires to connect where on the brake light wiring?

The brake light has three wires because it also lights your tail light. (Brake circuit, tail light circuit, and a ground)

You need to use a tester to tell you which wire is which.

Unless someone here can tell you definitively which is which.

The Light Blue (Lb) wire is the Brake Light and the Dark Green (Dg) wire is the Tail Light. Wiring diagram below.
