Locked keys in Buddy seat

I posted this as a reply to a related post but have no idea if it will be seen because it's all the way at the bottom of that thread, so I apologize if you've already seen this.

My husband locked his key (and wallet and tonight's soccer match tickets) in the seat of our Buddy at work. I was searching for a solution and saw that there are some folks who know of an easy solution to open the seat without ripping it apart. Would any one who knows please PM me with the instructions? I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance!
