Fleet Week, San Francisco

Just wanted to remind those who live in the San Francisco Bay Area that this week is Fleet Week. Ends on Monday, Oct 12. Blue Angels will be performing this weekend along with ships tours. Also, new for this year will be food trucks at Pier 80 courtesy of Off The Grid. There will also be the usual Fort Mason Off the Grid on Friday evening from 5 pm to 10 pm with 30 or so food trucks and a live band (beats a dead band I suppose, unless it's the Grateful Dead, but thats a different story...). And for those who don't know, October is usually the best month of the year to visit San Francisco.

But… El Niño.

I rode up first weekend of August and it was great except for a stretch of 100º temps on the way up and almost as hot temps from about Morro Bay to LA on the way back. But SF was amazing!
