I think it was Roland Sands, the motorcycle builder, that took a T-Max and made it his own-this Honda looks sort of like that build. Very interesting concept.
Love the looks, but I'll bet it's heavy and will be over $10k. If they made a smaller version, say 250cc, I'd be all over it.
I rolled my eyes when that blogsite called this a "step-through" scooter design.
I smiled when reading some of the comments on that blogsite where people were thinking they could just "throw" this onto the back of a motorhome bike rack. What they probably don't realize is that this thing is going to weigh in at close to 450lbs and is the size of a large motorcycle, lol. Look at how small those 17" diameter wheels look in the picture.
Still, this is a very bold move on Honda's part and I hope it does well for them. I have my doubts as to whether or not it'll make it to the US, but even if it does, I'm sure it'll be priced out of my budget range.

Honda, like other motorcycle/scooter manufacturers have many scooters to choose from, just not vintage style, so they won't bring them to the US where anything non-vintage looking tend to die on the vine, so to speak. When the US market starts catching up with the rest of the world, then we may see more variety available. I'm waiting for that day...hope I don't die from old age first...
