Getting ready for cold weather riding
I bit the bullet and ordered a Scorpion Passport Hi Viz one piece riding suit I can just put on over my regular jeans and shirt. Armored and on sale for $199 versus $429 list price. It's on the way from MotorcycleCloseouts. Free shipping. It'll let me take longer rides in the coming cold weather. Plus it will look like I own some expensive BMW Adventure bike or an Astronaut! Damn if the cold will keep me car bound
50 motorcycles and scooters from age 16 to 67. Loved every one but always had to sell one to buy the next, damn shame of economics. After spine surgery it's been all scooters. The light weight and CVT transmissions will let me ride as long as I breathe

I have cold weather riding down to a science. But the funny part is, I now take the truck more and more. Not saying I'm burned out of riding, but its now just full on cheap transport nowadays. I don't take the scoots or bike out for fun anymore. Now, I got me a 26" bmx bike and I ride that all over! Going back to my kid roots I guess!

Just ride for fun in the city and errands
Wish I could go back but at age 67 and after spine surgery mountain and Bmx bikes are beyond me. Can't walk more than 2 blocks but I can ride my scooter and motorcycle hopefully another 10 years
