y'know those quick release connections that they make for helmet straps, i was looking for some at cycle gear and they said they wouldn't sell them because they aren't safe.
anyone use these? are they dangerous?

As for straps and dog collar releases...I wouldn't use them. The simple strap and two rings works best for helmets.
