Genuine Website has a new look

I just went to the Genuine website, https://www.genuinescooters.com , and it has been completely overhauled. New look and layout plus lots of new information.

One of the big changes is they added horsepower rating to all their scooters(and motorcycle.) I am curious if these are estimates or actual measured horsepower, and if it is at the wheel or at the crank.

With some more digging it would appear that this must be a recent update since some stuff isn't working, like the dealer locator.

Assume hp figures are at the crank. A cvt requires a few hp afew hp to operate, lowering rear wheel hp even more.

Glad they have a Royal Alloy section now, though I only saw one photo in it. (from my phone)

Checking specs, I saw that the Royal Alloy 300 has 21 hp and the G400C has 26.
Conversely, the RA 300 top speed is around 85mph and the G400c is only around 80mph.
Why is that?
-I think the Royal Alloy has a higher revving engine. The RA is a newer design.
-The RA 300 is lower and narrower than the G400c.
Those are my guesses. Either one is fast enough for me.

Buddy 50 has only 2 hp! Very efficient use of power then, IMO. Works for me.

Glad they improved their site. It was a little annoying to browse through.
My Roughhouse cert of origin states 2hp, but that's for restriction reasons. Actual hp must be about 4.
