Spark plug alternate
The Champion L82YC is a good replacement for the discontinued non resistor NGK BP7HS. I have the resistor version RL82YC coming in but, I think that one has a non removable terminal nut.

Re: Spark plug alternate
The NGK pictured is a R plug, so you need the still being made NGK BPR7HS. Just order a few of the correct plugs if you cant find them locally. And the description, if ordering, should note a removable cap end as some don't have that option. I recently gave away a box of those spark plugs because I no longer work on other peoples scooters, I also had the BPR8HS and 9HS plugs for different heat ranges. All my 2-stroke stuff, and random 4-stroke, got boxed up and shipped to Florida.
Don't use a lawn mower plug from Champion.

Oh, it’s very easy to get the NGK’s Oreilly has them in stock. Just looking at alternatives for no good reason. The non resistor NGK’s was used originally on these scooters apparently. The L82YC’s are listed for such vehicles as the Yamaha Zuma 2t, and early sportsters.

And, yes. Got The RL82YC in the mail, it will fit, but the terminal nut is not removable.

Hmm. AutoZone sent me 4 spark plugs for the price of one (2.19) with free shipping hahaha. Well, the Federal-Mogul distribution center did.
