MPG definitely dropped a bit 70cc
Seems like it will be about 55 mpg. Malossi iron 70cc kit, 88 main jet stock carb, Malossi varriator kit as it came in the pack 7gm rollers and yellow spring. I am also seeing how much oil I will need to add to the fuel. Currently running 1oz extra per gallon.

I added a splash of extra 2-stroke oil to my gas tank for the first 500 miles before just letting the oil pump do its job. A few things I did while building Zuma's.
I always just ran the factory OEM autolube pump. I did have one of those adjustable oil pumps but never got around to installing it.
After a few days of running I recheck the head torques. Sometimes you'll get a slight warp on the cylinder head.
Those heavy 7 gram supplied rollers are always on the heavy side. Get a set of tuning rollers and do some timed runs 'round the block. I seem to recall being around 4 to 5 grams with the Zuma's.
Carbon fiber reeds are cheap insurance should a OEM metal reed chip from higher revs.
You went down a rabbit hole. Soon you'll get a expansion chamber exhaust (Tecnigas Next R or Yasuni Z are great starters for a Zuma) and be swapping out the final drive gears. My Zuma's would run 58mph all day pegged on full throttle with zero issues and still be able to ride easy wheelies. My friends Zuma ran just shy of 70 mph easily and would lift the front easily with a blip of the throttle, he ended up installing a stretch kit.
Welcome to 2-stroke land! I still don't really have the urge to rejoin myself at the moment but do miss it sometimes.
Is Tuning Matters website still around? That site was great for 2-stroke build tips and tricks!

I’m probably good as is, I used a little less than 1 gallon in 54 miles so, about 60mpg. Not to much less than when it was a 50. Used 2.5 or so oz of oil from the tank so, I’ll keep it at 1oz of oil premix per gallon. Yamalube 2S in the tank, and 2R in the fuel (even though 2S seemed to pre mix just fine.)

But a entry level expansion chamber sounds so good! Not to loud and really helps tightening up the power band! The rabbit hole of 2-stroke tuning is calling. Enter it.
I get to look at a lightly tuned 2-stroke Zuma bug-eye today for a broken V-slide. This owner doesn't take care of his stuff so I'm not looking forward to going by his place on the way to work. The owner of said Zuma wanted ME to help him do a BBK but I declined. YouTube will be his friend if he chooses to do the BBK, not me!
