I need to know the actual displacement of the 150 Buddy.
Anyone know?

I would say bore x stoke is 57x57.8mm

thats 147.5cc.

Im 92.33% sure.


May I ask why you need the info?

I thought it must be less than 150. It's still registered on the description plate as a "motor driven cycle" (as opposed to a true 150cc like the LX150--whose plate DOES say motorcycle) and therefore technically illegal for freeway use in California.

I'm sure it's still quite zippy!

That's weird, no DMV employee in a million years would make that distinction in Chicago. I have three 150cc scooters, all are technically under 150cc, and they're all titled as "M" class (Motorcycle 150cc and over). Either you were way too honest when you filled out the form, or California DMV are cruel sneaky b••tards.

Actually it's written on all the stock plates at the dealer (I think where the VIN is). Maybe the actual DMV registration slip would say "Motorcycle" like my 250cc scoot.
