Are you going to be painting yourself, or do you have a place who can paint it for you?vbl wrote:Good - cuz at this point it looks like I'll be getting an Italia in a month, and I don't really like the creme secondary color.Christy wrote:i like it!
I'd like to have my cream paint redone to be more tan like the seat, but its not really a big deal to me. I can accept it as it b/c I don't have the cash to have it painted.

You'll know better than I will since you own one, but - do those body panels come off independently? I assume so.Christy wrote:Are you going to be painting yourself, or do you have a place who can paint it for you?vbl wrote:Good - cuz at this point it looks like I'll be getting an Italia in a month, and I don't really like the creme secondary color.Christy wrote:i like it!

If that's the case, I might go the rattlecan route - I've seen some impressive motorcycle rattlecan paintjobs with little more than some sanding, careful spraying and some clearcoat. Cheap, too!

they come off fairly easily, might have to remove a few extra pieces to get to the ones you need. I heard somewhere that to get the front wheel cover off you have to remove the front wheel first, but I'm not positive...vbl wrote:You'll know better than I will since you own one, but - do those body panels come off independently? it is photoshopped.toddrw2251 wrote:It looks photoshoped to me. I believe that most of the custom paint jobs on with a rattle can that have been posted on MB have been done with Krylon Fusion.brimstone wrote:do you guys use the krylon fusion paint for your body panels?
