Because I have to. After 38 years of riding, I'd probably go crazy if I didn't. And scooters deliver more GPM (Grins Per Mile) than any other conveyance...2 or 4 wheeled!!!

All of the above, but I got back into it because of the fun. As keys said, the most GPM out there !

That you get awsome mileage, ease of partking, get to meet new people and be outside of the status quo are just a bonus. :D
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?

Thanks Eric. I did do a search before I posted but didn't come up with that one.

Why I bought the scooter: Environmentally friendly, closer parking, cost savings

Why I ride: all the quality of life stuff

Since my van gets about 15mpg city, it wasn't hard to figure out that I needed cheaper transportation to get to work when gas prices started going through the roof. And I'm SOOOooo glad I got a Buddy. I love it! :D Now I have to keep thinking up excuses to go ride. Just the opposite of when I was driving the van!

The category that fits me best is: (Relatively inexpensive transportation); the reality of it, it’s just plain cheap to ride. It saves the wear and tear on the cars; replacement parts are inexpensive, oil is only small in quantity, each tire cost about ¼ of what it cost to replace the 4 wheel type, insurance is almost for free; gas alone, our family has saved over $1,000.00, using our scooters, over the last year! – and it is fun to ride.
