buddy italia 2005?

Post by riancurtis »

I have a friend who is getting a 2005 italia 125 in Atlanta tomorrow. Is hat right? Did they have the italia in 2005? If not when and if so what are the differences?

These bikes didnt even exist in america in 2005. The earliest buddy was 2006, the earliest italia was a 2007.

2007: Punny OEM horn, short mirrors, colors.

2008: LOUD stebel horns, longer mirrors, new colors.

Nothing much too major.

The biggest difference between '07 and '08 on the italia, of course, is 125 vs. 150.

Buyer beware! I'd be hesitant to buy a scoot from someone who didn't know the model year. Hopefully your friend is going to see all the paperwork and maintenance records and is getting a good deal.

Theres a girl or guy selling a 2007 italia right now on the forums for only 2300 or something, comes with rack and top case, really cheap! Plus they had service done, hopefully you're looking at the same one, otherwise, go look at that one in the for sale section.

2300 bucks is PRETTY good, not "really cheap"... I got my '07 Italia for about $2700 (including taxes) brand spankin new (half a mile on the odometer!)! 8)

my friend told me 2005 and i knew it sounded funny.
it was in ATL and there was absolutely no mention of 2005 anywhere

he got there and picked it up today. 2300. with a top case. very nice. under 500 miles. killer deal.

apparently we are retarded and just got 2005 thrown in the mix somewhere.
