First night with a new Crew...buddy rocked.

Post by Scootden »

So I went out with a new scooter club the other night.
The whole idea behind this crew is your standard SC stuff....ride around in a pack, have a beer, talk scooter stuff etc. The big difference with this club is, from the start they all said no scooter "snobery". Every scooter is welcome. Just be fun/cool.
So 6 of us went out the other night....we had 2 kitted Yamaha Zuma's, A kitted Vespa ET2, a Vespa GS with a 200cc motor(upgrade), a Sears "blue badge" 125cc, and my kitted Buddy.
Holy Shit we had fun!
The buddy ran awesome, one of the Zumas could beat me off the line(he had a performance clutch!) but I had him on top end. Both of us killed the other scoots until the 200 got going.
It was most of them's first experience around a Buddy and they all seemed impressed.

Anyway it was a good time, thought I'd share.

Isn't banning snobs from a club sort of elitist? What, do you think you're better than snobs? As a snob, I'm offended I can't join your club. : )

Sounds great, hopefully everyone in that club can remain easygoing and cooperative, it's not easy to *stay* that way, but some clubs have managed to do it.

So far it's invite only....lol...but it has nothing to do with what you ride. More like if you are chill and want to just have a goodtime.
1 of the guys there has over 15 scooters....mostly vintage....another guy has 5.
I'm lusting after a vintage scoot...these guys have the connections and know how to get me there.

Sounds like a nice group of people. Your club will become like a family. Enjoy!
