Where to buy the Oil filter?

Post by JasonH »

My dealer is far away and booked so they said it would be ok if I do my first oil change, but where can I buy the buddy oil filter? They're closed now or else I'd call and ask, but I would love to replace that thing if theres a place I can buy it.

Thanks everybody

Don't know about a store, but Scooter Works and Motorsport Scooters have them. You can order online.

AutoZone carries some good small filters. I don't know about the Buddy but they carry them for my Triumph. Once you buy a filter, get the number and see if it can be cross referenced at a auto parts store. Auto Zone had K&N and Mobil filters that fitmy Triumph. Its worth a shot. Especially since the Buddy aftermarket filter (same as Piaggio) costs 10 bucks and shipping.

Motorsport Scooters - http://www.scooterwest.com/ Its on the first page. Same one as Scooter Works.

Scooter Works - http://www.scooterworks.com/Tires_and_H ... s_C292.cfm

Good Luck,

Dennis

You can order them from Scooterworks.com and scooterwest.com.
Scooterworks is owned by the same person who owns Genuine Scooter Company..you know the distributor of the Buddy scooters. You shouldn't have to pay more than $9.50 from either of them. You can also use the same filter that the Vespa LX150 uses, should you have a Vespa dealer near by.
