Perhaps this answers questions about the windscreen debate
Folks, no crosswind has ever outweighed the advantage of having my windscreen. It keeps me safe from wind exhaustion and even helps save on gas. And just look out how many bugs it has killed! If you are a bug sympathizer, the windscreen is not for you.

As a bio teacher, I cannot condone the act of killing a living thing (besides cow, pig, and all the other succulent meats
) . Therefore I shall forever remain windscreenless.

Robbie: You hit two cones back there. Those could have been people... they could have been guests at her wedding!
Sammy: [exasperated] They were *cones*!

Alix you should coat the windscreen with a little butter and pepper before each ride... think of the possibilities!

Alix, most of those splats don't have the color I'd expect to see. It looks as if your were following a smoker. What were they eating before they came to rest on your screen?

I dislike bugs
and also my screen got hit by a rock the other day and I am SO glad it didn't hit me in the chest. I am pretty sure it could have knocked me off the scoot...I think it almost cracked the shield. I'm so glad to have the windshield.
